Reductionism
Whenever we give a name to the images we see, we transform them into things: the objects of reality. The totality of our reality is assembled by handling these objects like a jigsaw puzzle.
We perceive our own reality through sensations from our outer senses (the eyesight, hearing, skin tactile, taste and smell), they are our observation channels to grasp what happens around us.
We give names to what we experience through our senses calling them real concrete objects. Next, we list them, study and tally these images/objects.
From the very beginning, the human brain was being shaped to function like it does today, by way of engaging models and using code words and figures. 
The universal language of mathematics quantifies things, the phenomena qualitatively studied by the natural sciences are expressed in quantities that are placed in a numbered ratio correlated to a law of Nature. The tallied observations and experiments are reduced to expressions and mathematical terms and subsequently placed in formulas and equations of corresponding numerical logic.
Thanks to the computable scientific reductionism method, the book of nature can be explained using the language of mathematics, by translating everything that exists into a model of standardized numerical tables.   
 Algebra, for instance, is a systematic mathematical language that terms numbers, and works like a computer program: we write down the chosen numbers, do the standard calculation and get the output result.
More recently, a big conceptual leap happened in the development of mathematical models, when we started to analyze the problems so that the solutions would work with any numbers, and we have since learned to calculate mathematical formulas that will work with all types of numbers and in all occasions.
At present, equations in the mathematical language are the tools that work best at making well-defined projections and future predictions about the natural phenomena, and this is an epistemological goal in Science and an extremely important one if we want to keep on the path of this technological civilization in which we live.

The same path in which scientists make new discoveries in astronomy, in astrophysics, and in high energy physics, elaborating new equations and describing new theoretical or phenomenological models about the stuff which we are made of and the origins of the physical Universe. 




To create, and destroy it to renovate

Recycling along the timeline is a natural cosmic law. The stars scatter their mass when they die, and new stars are born from the remains of the dead one.
The chemical elements dispersed in star blasts are recycled and later restored into new stars, new planets and living beings by a combination of chemical elements.
Nothing seems to be renewed without being destroyed first. In their due course, living beings grow
old and die, mountains erode and disappear, the seas dry up, and planets are destroyed when powerful stars exhaust and die.
The cycle of creation and destruction is followed by recycling and rebuilding.
After death, living beings decompose into carbon and other elements, highlands erode into valleys

and shattered rocks turn into sand; the planets are permanently subject to space collisions and gravitational fields, and the stars explode in supernovae that are so hot, the atoms in this doomed star unite to form heavier elements under nuclear fusion.
All destroyed, all but absolutely necessary for the continuation of the creation process, and the next stage is later on extermination, a never-ending succession of universally connected recycling where there is no new life without death.
The first law of thermodynamics demonstrates that the quantity of energy and mass enclosed in the entire universe is flowing in transformations, and from time to time a spectacular disaster strikes to shake things up.
The second law of thermodynamics indicates a general decay and disorder of what is already in an organized mode, resulting in a compulsory positioning of space, setting the direction of time forever pointing to the future of the expanding Universe. Everything that happens cannot reverse this spatial orientation, time cannot go backward and thus, despite being aware of our present time and recalling our past events, we do not know what will happen in the future because of the increase of entropy everywhere.
